What When I Work does well
Inexpensive, broad, and built around the time clock.
Plans start at $2.50 per user per month, with a 14-day free trial. Its time clock works on any device, with GPS clock-in, and it connects to payroll and point-of-sale systems. Its scheduling rules cover a minimum gap between shifts, days in a row and days in a week, with an overtime alert against a weekly maximum. None of it knows a pharmacy rule.
What a pharmacy owner should check
Three honest questions before you decide.
- Does your state set a ratio or pharmacy hour rules? Then When I Work leaves checking every shift against it to you. RxShift checks each shift against your state’s rule as you build, and cites the rule it used. Find your state.
- How far back can you answer a question? When I Work’s shift history report covers 60 days. RxShift’s audit log is append-only, and where your state sets a ratio its Compliance Record shows who was on and counting, hour by hour.
- Do you need a time clock? When I Work includes one; RxShift does not. RxShift tracks who is on and counting through live status, not punches, so a pharmacy that needs punches for payroll may keep its clock alongside RxShift.
